Referral practice

Patients are offered an initial non-binding consultation.

After this diagnostic assessment we will send you a doctor’s letter (by e-mail if requested) outlining the suggested treatment plan.

The patients return to your dental practice free of inflammations and prepared for prosthetic treatment.

We will only carry out the treatment previously agreed with the referring dentist (surgical or periodontal).

The patient will be referred back to you for follow-up treatment.

Surgical wisdom teeth extractions

If wisdom teeth are completely or partly impacted or their relationship to adjacent structures such as the inferior alveolar nerve cannot be clearly evaluated with panoramic imaging, further diagnostic measures or the referral to an oral surgeon is often recommended.

Apicoectomy

Root tip resections with a microsurgical apical seal result in improved tooth prognosis but are highly challenging from a technical perspective, especially in the case of posterior teeth and the corresponding equipment required.

Implants, navigation and bone augmentation

Nowadays dental implants are the standard of care for replacing missing teeth. If, however, jawbone deterioration occurs due to inflammation, trauma or tooth loss over several years, implant placement might become a complex issue that requires careful planning.

3D radiography

Three-dimensional imaging or DVT is commonly used in many cases today, not only prior implant placement but also to determine the position of impacted teeth or to assess indeterminable pain.

Periodontal therapy

Periodontal health is a conditio sine qua non, a prerequisite of successful tooth restauration.

Periodontal surgery

If you have already received conservative periodontal therapy but still have gingival pockets remaining, surgical treatment may be needed to eliminate inflamed gum tissue. Periodontal surgery is often considered the only option to successfully treat a tooth.

Recession coverage

In the event that gingival recession cannot be controlled after cleaning training and suitable dental hygiene behavior, only a recession coverage can help to cover up unpleasantly exposed tooth necks.

Peri-implantitis therapy

Mucositis refers to an infectious condition of the tissue around implants, while peri-implantitis in further characterized by loss of bone. Peri-implantitis requires surgical treatment, and the result is very difficult to predict.
